How to Prepare for a Project Management Interview

Regular price $27.00

Are you preparing for a project management interview? Then this is for you.

This 90-page ebook on how to ace your project management interview gives you everything you need to approach your interview with confidence.

You'll learn my 3-step approach to Prepare, Research and Practice before you meet the interviewer.

Interview questions (and prompts for responses)

The ebook contains over 35 relevant, situational questions that will help you prepare for whatever you might be asked in a behavioral interview.

For each question, you'll find out why the interviewer is asking and what they want to know, and prompts for how to respond.

There are also 20 answer prompts for tricky questions, so you'll never have to wonder how to reply to 'Tell me about yourself' ever again!

There are no 'memorization' parts to this ebook. Instead, I give you things to think about, answer prompts, considerations and examples of things you might have done that could be an appropriate response. You'll have to tailor the exact answer you give in the interview to your personal circumstances, but this guide will help you think about the right things and streamline your interview prep.

There is also a checklist to help you decide if your example is really 'interview worthy' and also worksheets to help you plan good, rounded scenarios to discuss that showcase your skills.

Here are some instructions that may help you access the ebook and template files if you are having trouble.

Are you trying to download on a mobile device like a phone or iPad? Most mobile devices will not let you open a .zip file, or download via a link. Please try to access the files via a desktop/laptop computer.

How to unzip a .zip file:
Zip files are compressed files, so they take up less space when they are being saved and transfered. In order to access the templates inside, you need to unzip the file.
On a laptop or desktop computer:
  • Save the file to your computer.
  • Right click
  • Choose 'Extract all'
  • Select a destination for your files (Browse to where you want them to be saved)
  • Click Extract
  • Navigate to where you saved the files to open them.

If you want to access the files on your mobile device, you can add them to iCloud or Dropbox so they are shared across your devices.

How to read a PDF file:

Your computer may already have Adobe Reader installed on it (most do). On an iPad, you can open a PDF file in iBooks.

If you don't have software on your device that can read a PDF file, pleaase install one. Adobe Reader is the most common software (it's free).

Download it here.

How to find your files:

This has happened to me multiple times: I download something and then can't find it on my computer! Check the Downloads folder (under My Computer). Or use Explorer to search for the name of the file you just downloaded. Sometimes you can also see the file in your browser download history.

Read the terms and licensing related to how you can use the templates and files.
